These have been  wonderful years in otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at the Saidu Teaching Hospital at Saidu Sharif Swat. During the past few years, our department has maintained a steady growth in both clinical and academic activities. Our productivity has become even stronger with respect to research and skill development. This is largely to the credit of an active teaching staff that devotes considerable energy towards this academic mandate. We have started a Skill Development center and a research center, which on one hand will provide better learning opportunities to the residents and on the other hand will add to the excellent patient care.  We have latest Operating & Surgical facilities which are at par to any institutions in the country. I am pleased to announce that we have started Cochlear Implant Surgery for deaf & mute patients in collaboration with Pakistan Bait ul Mall in March 2022. I continue to be impressed with the progress of our residents and fellows in extending the research of our Ear Care Activities to the communities at their door step. They have participated in a number of skills enhancing workshops both in country and abroad.

We will continue to provide excellent ENT care to Malakand Division’s patients. We will continue to train the next generation of Saidu Medical College and our Post Graduate Residents with the best of our knowledge & skills in the available resources.
