Dr. Samiullah (HOD)

The Nephrology department of Saidu Teaching Hospital was formally established in 2010. A full dedicated unit became operational in 2019. The unit provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care. It has a 20 beds ward and 4 beds dialysis unit with 4 hemodialysis machines, providing services to both acute kidney failure and end stage renal disease patients. A hemodialysis machine with its RO plant has been provided to ICU which also provides dialysis services to COVID 19 patients having renal injury.
